The Israeli standard requires to isolate constructive components that form epicenters for “thermal bridges”. Without insulation, these areas have a higher risk of condensation forming which will lead to mold.

The “ADEX” board is a Polystyrene board coated with a thin layer of cement.

The Polystyrene is insulating, and the coat is used as a primer for the plaster applied later.
